Do you ship flood barriers to New Jersey and New York?
Yes. Every barrier is cut to size in North Miami and shipped anywhere in the United States. We confirm your measurements with you before cutting.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. The side channels screw to the door frame with the stainless hardware included, and our step by step installation guide shows every part. A handyman or contractor can also do it. After that, deploying the panels takes minutes and needs no tools other than the two Allen keys supplied.
How do I measure my door?
Measure the full span where the side channels will sit, from bracket to bracket outside the frame, not only the clear door width. If the door opens outward, the barrier goes on the inside so the door can still open. Send us photos and we will check it with you.
How high does it hold water?
The standard three panel barrier blocks about 26 inches of water. We add panels for taller openings.
Why not sandbags?
Sandbags take hours and several people, leak at every gap and end up wet and thrown out. The aluminum barrier seals with EPDM rubber gaskets, goes up in minutes and is reused every storm.
Are you a contractor in my area?
We install directly in South Florida. Outside Florida we ship the barrier with the installation guide and phone support. Contractors who want to offer our barriers to their clients can join our dealer program.
